Meet the faces behind our school's Green Team Committee. This great bunch of children are taking on leadership roles to help promote the theme of Travel. - and while we may not have buses or bikes at the ready, we're proving that small steps can still lead to big change! Here's how we're making the journey greener together! Kindness Carpool - We're encouraging families to buddy up for lifts when possible, helping reduce traffic and build community spirit. No Idling - Let's Breathe Easy Together. As part of our ongoing work to promote sustainable travel to and from school, we are delighted to launch our No Idling Campaign. From 17th November, we kindly ask all vehicle owners to switch off engines while waiting outside the school. This simple action helps!

Engines Off - We're Going Green!
As part of our Green Schools Travel, we proudly launched a No-Idling Campaign to help reduce air pollution around our school. Our students carried out an idling survey outside the school and sent a ‘No-Idling’ Pledge home to all parents, encouraging everyone to switch off engines and help keep our air clean and healthy.
What Happens Next?
Our Green Team is just getting started! We can’t wait to keep learning about Travel and find more ways to raise awareness about road safety and eco-friendly travel around our school. Over the next few months, we’ll be running fun surveys, campaigns and activities to help our school community make smarter travel choices. Together, we’re making a big difference – one journey at a time!
