Growing Sunflowers
HOW WE GREW OUR SUNFLOWERS IN POTS
Planting sunflower seeds in pots was really quick and easy.
We started off by filling your plant pots with compost, until they’re about two thirds full.
Then each child used their finger to poke a little hole into the middle of the compost.
Next, teacher gave each of them a seed, and they dropped one into each hole.
The children took turns to water the pants twice a week, and their sunflower seeds started to germinate and grow within 1-2 weeks.
(Our Sun flowers turned out lovely and made beautiful Mothers Day Gifts).
