Mrs Russell is the teacher in the Junior Room.
The classroom is an airy, spacious room welcoming all students and making them feel comfortable to help them build a foundation for positive relationships with their peers.
Aistear is a curriculum framework for children from birth to 6yrs of age. In addition to the primary school curriculum, it is implemented in the junior classroom. It provides learning experiences so that all children can grow and develop as competent and confident learners. Mrs Russell teaches the curriculum in an integrated/thematic way, prioritising play in the classroom.
The word “Aistear” means journey in Irish – thus the beginning of your child’s lifelong learning journey.
